Background
Chubb offers security and fire protection solutions for New Zealand homes and businesses. Chubb had launched a new security website, but it had very low traffic. Their new site wasn’t appearing anywhere in Google. They brought us on board to fix the problem.
What We Did
Our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) work started with on-page optimisation. From Google’s point of view there were a large number of problems with the site’s structure and code, so we coordinated the changes needed with the website’s developers.
We added extra content and pages, as needed, and changed the navigation, which helped both SEO and usability. We then set to work building authority for the new website, for a total of 30 keywords.
Later we introduced and initiated Google AdWords for Chubb, targeting 7 geographic locations around New Zealand. AdWords traffic was sent to landing pages.
The Result
The result was a monstrous lift in traffic with 21/30 keywords in the top 3 places on Google and 29/30 on page #1, in keywords that are very competitive. Here’s a screenshot of the website traffic:

We also provided Chubb with clear measurement of results by tracking AdWords leads through both web forms and phone calls. The campaigns have produced substantial results. Over the first 12 months the AdWords campaigns averaged a 22.21% conversion rate and generated over 3000 enquiries.
